Trendsetters: The new of this era.

As innovation stills advancing along this decade, new terms related to this concept have been appearing with the aim of improving our lives. Innovation not only means technology but also other fields as Trendsetters are part of this change. A trendsetter is someone who starts new tendencies mainly in the world of fashion and it is not only related to fashion designers only but also to teenagers, especially ladies, that always want to look good, stylish, dress well and that many people still looking at her because of her outfit. So she without realizing it, is creating a new fashion style or trend.
Trendsetter is related to people that don’t want to follow the rest, in other words they don’t want to be “trend followers”. Those kind of people that want to be noticed due to their style used to have new creative ideas and it can bring them new opportunities to work in well recognized clothing stores as designers.

So in a world of limited opportunities a Trendsetter must not stop generating new ideas because as Templeman (2015) says “In a world where customers expect new products and services to change as quickly as the seasons, how can we, as entrepreneurs, anticipate current trends?”. Is just simple, as I told before, not stop generating new ideas. Once you decide to become a Trendsetter you need to take some important facts into consideration.
First, the most important key is to have your style or start developing it and once you have it, is better to follow the same trend and make some improvement or adjustments according to the conditions. It is just like a business if you adapt better and anticipate to others, you still in the game.
As Deemers says (2015) “Once a company has identified its personal style, it should shine through in everything the company does”.
Another important fact for Trendsetters is time, the time they need to create new ideas. Don’t think that thinking is a waste of time because it is the most effective way to get an idea and once you have it you can make some adjustments by the time because it is essential, nothing goes from the overnight and creating something new that everyone likes is complicated that’s why innovation is crucial and people that want to be Trendsetters must understand that.
Even though time and ideas are important pieces in this puzzle. There is missing one of the most important. As we, Trendsetters and Trend followers, are all customers; Trendsetters must have to think like us because we all know what we need or want and if you as a Trendsetter position in customers’ minds probably you have gain a market. As Honigman (2015) says, listening to customers is always important because they are the ones that will accept or deny all what Trendsetters are offering.
As you see being a Trendsetter is not too easy, once you enter in this field you must know everything about your market, especially if teenagers want to impose some new styles regarding clothes. The clothing sector is very complicated due to the variety of cultures and seasons around the world but here enter the main important task of a Trendsetter reduce those barriers creatively.
