The Art of war is an ancient military list of texts written by Sun Tzu, military general known as an expert in military tact ics. These texts have been for almost two thousand years, the most important military strategy in Asia. This book was written to make you improve in battlefield, make you understood that you have to conduct yourself, manage your soldiers and resources. All these tactics can be apply in business.

The first chapters of the book focus on Avoid your competitor’s strength, and attack their weakness. It is important know your enemy and yourself. In business, we use the SWOT analysis to know all that information and make strategies to beat the competition. To know your competitor’s weaknesses, requires a deep investigation of their board of director, strategies, suppliers and clients.

A tactic, which is mentioned many times, is the tactic of deception. If you are strong, you have to look weak and if you are weak, you must appear strong. Never show your position to the enemy, if you are far make him think you are close so he will focus on you, instead of his duties .If you are close make him thing you are far so you can be prepare to attack.

You can know all the strategies and tactic but if you are not a good leader, you are going to fail. You should be wise sincere, humane, courageous, and strict. A leader leads by example not by force. With these your soldiers will follow you anywhere, even death. In business if you develop your character as a leader, you will increase work with motivated workers and they will maximize they potential.

I recommend this book because it should you how to deal with adversities in your live. In addition, as a future businessperson, what is the best choice in certain business scenarios.
